farmers market, will, and more!

Well, things have been very busy in the Reeder household! Chad has kept himself very busy with yardwork and his new vegetable garden! He has done a great job! I am ashamed that I have not been more help but I have been busy with the opening weekend of the market! Mom, Kate and Will came down to help us get the house in order and prepared for the market! They were unbelievable! We had a lot of fun!

Will is getting so big! While he was here we got him a new sink and he was in love with splashing around in it!

The market went really well. I was really proud and relieved my first day was over! I couldn't have done it without Amanda, Mom, Kate, Joannah, Evie and Chad... and of course Will! Making my first sale was really cool. However, it was suprisingly nerve wrecking! I think this is going to be a great venture! liz

Friday the 13th! Oooohhh!

Hello! I have wonderful news! This week I found out I was accepted into the market! We are very thrilled! I am very excited to be able to design my own products and not have to worry about the headaches of custom work! I will be sewing everything from diaper bags to burpie cloths to girls dresses! The picture above is a burpie I did for a friend of mine. ( I know the photography is "ghetto" but I am still working!) I have a lot of work ahead of me because the market starts on April 11th. I was hoping to join my new family on our annual trip to Sarasota for the Reds last spring training in Florida but it looks like I am going to have to stay here and prepare! I am looking forward to seeing them as they pass through though!

february sum up!

SO.. I know it has been too long since I was on here! Chad and I have had quite a busy month! On President's Day weekend, we were so fortunate to have Nina, Amanda, Kate, Mom and Will come to town. Amanda and I worked on the business and we all had a great time catching up! We discovered that Prince Will is quite scared of balloons!

He is so darn precious though! We both have been working a lot this month! I think I got into the farmers market selling my kids things so I am really excited. I will know soon though! I had a birthday this month! Chad took me to dinner and a movie and also took me shopping! YEAH!For Valentine's Day he built me a birdhouse! What a lucky girl! He is so great! Anyway- I will inclucde some pictures below of the month! Love you!

Chad and I have been busy little bees working on the house and we are finally making progress! YEAH! We have been working on the living room and hall. We added beadboard and a chair rail. We are pretty excited about that. We also made the totally awesome picture frames!

Welcome to The Reeder family blog! The Reeder family was established November 29, 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio. However, we live in Charleston, SC. My name is Liz and my husband's name is Chad. We met here in Charleston two and a half years ago. We have two wonderful children, Finley and Trigger. Finley is a Jack Russell and full of energy. We got Finley in April from a student who didn't have enough time for our little girl! Trigger is a black lab and beagle mix. We rescued Trig from the pound! He is so sweet and can do no wrong in Daddy's eyes. We love them both and can't wait to add to our family soon!
