home sweet home

so far life with our little girl has been the
most wonderful thing in the world! We have had so much fun watching her sweet little faces and funny little coos she makes. Grandma Bunny has been unbelievable! She has been here for almost 2 weeks and we could not have done it without her. Grandpa Jack, Aunt Kate and cousin Caroline came on Friday and we have had so much fun visiting.
Today Carson decided to give us quite a scare when she suddenly became limp and unresponsive. It probably only lasted for 30 seconds but it literally gave us the scare of a lifetime. We immediately took her to Children's ER where they examined her and the doc said that she was very confident that it was just periodic breathing which is apparently "normal" for a baby. The doctor said she looked very healthy! I have never been more scared in my life!
Needless to say - Chad and I are trading off watching her all night tonight. And my wonderful mother has decided to stay an extra 3 days to help out. I am so thankful everything is okay and that I had a wonderful support system around.

Carson Ivalee Reeder

She's here! Miss Carson arrived on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 8:34 am via c-section! She weighed 9lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long! She is the sweetest thing in the world. She loves to sleep which has been good for mommy! I think she is a perfect blend of me and chad which is so fun to pick out her different features. We are going home tonight to meet her sister and brothers. We brought home a blanket for them to smell to get use to her so hopefully they will behave!

Back again!

Well I guess it is time to get my act together and start blogging again since we do have a huge addition coming to the family! Carson should be arriving any day now and we can't wait! (especially me!) These last few weeks have been agonizing! I am pretty uncomfortable now so everyday seems like eternity. Mom is coming tomorrow which will help the days speed by.
Carson had been lying transverse up until this week and we thought we might be having a c-section but she has decided to turn and is in ready-set position! Just need a GO! I am thinking it will be toward the end of this week but who knows~ All I know is that I am so excited to meet our baby girl!
